The TV Employee Compensation and Fringe Benefits Report (2013) provides current, detailed compensation data by job title and medical, dental, insurance, vacation and other fringe benefits offered by commercial, TV broadcasters across America.
The report contains 26 tables of compensation and seven tables of benefits data. Compensation tables show all participating stations by net revenue ranges and four census regions; data by DMA ranges for ABC, CBS, FOX & NBC affiliates combined; all markets for CW and MNTV affiliates combined and all markets for Independent stations combined.
Fringe benefits tables show data for all participating stations combined; ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC affiliates combined; CW and MNTV affiliates combined and all stations by four census regions.
In total, 288 of the 1,127 commercial broadcast stations (43.3%) responded to the compensation survey during the first half of 2013. Respondent data were aggregated so that no station or station group could be identified. Results reflect affiliated stations because few owned and operated stations replied to the survey.
Job titles and fringe benefits in this study were updated from NAB’s 2007 report in order to better reflect current industry practices.
