Just Released! 2010 NAB Television Financial Report

Product Description
The NAB Television Financial Report (2010) is the most comprehensive report on television station revenues in the U.S., allowing a comparative analysis of stations revenue earnings across DMAs, by station affiliation and revenue categories. Often serving as a tool for station owners and managers to benchmark station revenue, this report also assists stations with answers to the most challenging financial questions across the broadcast industry.
The 2010 edition of the Television Financial Report includes 81 tables for you to compare your station’s performance to that of other stations around the country. Tables were prepared based on station affiliation (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, MNTV, and Independent), revenue categories and market size. Affiliations were based upon the affiliation as of May 2009. Stations were classified by market size for the tables using the 2009-2010 Nielsen Designated Market Area (DMA) ranking. Financial questionnaires requesting 2009 revenue sources, departmental expenses and specific line items were sent to all commercial television stations in February 2010. Of the 1,294 television stations contacted, 705 facilities representing 784 television stations submitted usable questionnaires for a response rate of 61%.
The goal of every business operation is to increase the bottom line. This report can add insight into the tough management questions you face every day.
