Methods:
Questionnaires requesting salary and fringe benefits information were mailed to all of the 1,160U.S. commercial (non-satellite) television stations in October, 2007. Of these, 327 stations returned useable questionnaires resulting in an overall response rate of 28.2%.
In all, 28 tables have been prepared based on revenue categories, station type (affiliated,
independent), and DMA rank and region of the country.
